I would give this 10 stars if I could!!! I am a huge lamp snob as I have sensitive eyes and cannot do overhead lighting in my home. So each room has multiple lamps. Not exaggerating here...these are the best lamps I have ever purchased! They are study and beautiful. I usually don't leave reviews, but I felt compelled to leave one after experiencing the best unboxing experience of my life. They were packed so well and strategically and even the instructions were pleasant to read on beautiful cardstock! I loved that the shade isn't one you wrap around with velcro, it comes as a full shade and all the pieces fit together perfectly. Also, a lot of my lamps tend to have wonky leveling near the part where the shade sits resulting in terrible unevenness with the shade. Well, they even thought of that! The metal piece the shade it sits on is adjustable so it can be leveled accordingly! Genius! HIGHLY recommend!
I love these lamps and their simple, clean design. The materials are good quality and they're very stabile at the base and all the connections. They have thick braided cords!The linen shades are a thick and solid material. I have 60 watt 2700/soft white bulbs in each but the shades create a warmer light. Take a look at the photos. I took pics close up and through the top. I wouldn't go any warmer with the bulbs if I were you. I also like that the shades are assembled, rather than a lot of lamps sold these days with lower quality velcro shades and plastic rings that you have to assemble yourself. Those are ok for dorm rooms.The matte black works well with the stair balustrades we're painting matte black right next to this little wall and they match the SW Austere Grey on the walls (which is green with a grey undertone, lol). I have floor lamps across the room with black bases as well so the black accents around the room are consistent.I actually bought the console and 2 of the things on it here on Amazon: the unfinished Parawood console (International Concepts, which has solid furniture!), the little terracotta pots with artificial leaves, and the lamps. It's nice when things work out and the products are made well. That's why these reviews are needed.If this simple style suits you, I totally recommend these lamps.

Real linen shades…not plastic Velcro design. Very sturdy and attractive lamps. I searched endlessly for quality lamps with good reviews.

These lamps look like you bought them in a nice home decor store. Very sturdy material well made it came very well packaged. It has a pull cord to turn on and off and I use them in my dining room and it transformed the room I’m very pleased with the purchase very easy to assemble. I put lightbulbs with timers on them and it works great. These lamps are the ones you want to buy they are well worth the price

These lamps are perfect for the space and exactly the size (height and width) that I was looking for. They came very nicely packaged however both shades were dented in several spots.
Another review mentioned that about the shades too. I was able to put the dented spots in the back so it worked out.
I’m glad because they are everything that I wanted in lamps for this space.
Quality is great other than the few dents.
Gave 4 stars due to the shades otherwise would have given a 5.

They were extremely easy to assemble. Nice! They are looking good in my home. Extra nice! I'm extremely happy with this purchase.
